The Ancient Near Eastern World - Unit 3
Unit 3 of The Ancient Near Eastern World is about kings and lawgivers, presenting big ideas of empires, laws, and religion. The focus of this unit is on the developing civic institutions in Mesopotamia- Sargon's empire, the laws of Shulgi and Hammurabi, the workings of the legal system, and the role of priestesses and priests.
